I recently rented a condo/apt in Hua Hin, Thailand, in what we believed to be in the downtown area. We only searched places marked near the train station close to the main road going to the beach. After reviewing the pictures of the placed marker we rented the unit. Later when I contacted the owner and was provided directions, the unit was located way South. I recontacted the owner and she “said” the unit was properly marked on the Air BnB website. I have no idea who is at fault, the owner or some mistake with Air BnB. We did not look anywhere close to the actually site so we know the fault was not ours. Air BNB cannot even be contacted to deal with the problem. I doubt that I will ever use Air BNB again.
